Community Service Announcement
Devonte Malcolm's mother Cynthia Jones was hit by a car and killed last
Monday night. She was a single parent and worked two jobs. They did
not have a car and she was walking home from her night job as a cook
when the tragic accident occurred.
Devonte is a member of the Buena varsity basketball team, and Coach
Glasgow told me in his 22 years of coaching this is the toughest thing
he has ever had to deal with.
I am raising funds to help Devonte and those close to him get through
this from a financial standpoint.
Any contribution would be greatly appreciated. I am collecting
donations through November and then I am coordinating with Coach
Glasgow and Buena high school to get these funds down there and
Coach Glasgow will make sure they get used appropriately.
